Graduated from St. Petersburg State University in 1995, majoring in geological exploration. In 1999, he graduated from the St. Petersburg Theological Seminary, and in 2003 from the Moscow Orthodox Theological Academy. In 2002, he completed an internship in Patrology at the Theological Faculty of the University of Athens. Since September 2003, he has been a full-time lecturer and secretary of the Department of Bibliography of the MTA. He gives lectures on Biblical archeology and Biblical theology at the Academy of Arts. He is a lecturer at the Candlemass Theological Seminary and the Minsk Theological Academy. Ordained to the rank of deacon on March 20, 2005, ordained to the rank of priest on May 21, 2005. Raised to the rank of archpriest on May 1, 2013.
